Description Bert Santema 2003-09-16 03:13:38 UTC
I emerged cinerella 1.1.7 and everything went fine (no errors).
However, the cinerella binary is not copied to /usr/bin although portage claims
it is installed.
When I compiled cinerella myself (without ebuilds) and went into the
cinerella/i686 directory, I could run cinerella from there without problems.
I re-emerged 2 times, and the problem persisted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge cinerella
2.try to run cinerella (not found)
3.check /usr/bin (not there)

Actual Results:
Nothing :)

Expected Results:
Copy cinerella to /usr/bin

Sorry, at the moment I do not have access to my system. Please let me now if
this is relevant, and I will post it asap.

something got broken but the makefile does not die properly, I'll make the next release die if the supposed executable aren't in place.

I guess you have a i586 system, if so, the issue should be fixed now
Comment 5 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2003-10-31 19:53:59 UTC
closing it since I have no more feedback, please reopen if the issue is still
valid
