The attached patch removes configure check for C++ compiler from sys-fs/sysfsutils-2.1.0 using epunt_cxx from the eutils eclass. This check was the only reason for this package failing on a system with sys-devel/gcc compiled with the nocxx USE flag.

Frankly, that one of the lesser problems of sysfsutils.
Just read bug 220347. While my comments there sound a bit
insane, they still show the real problem - especially that
now udev itself (as of 142) wants that kernel option off.

so file a bug to get the package removed from the tree.  complaining about unrelated issues on unrelated bugs isnt the way to get things resolved.
