Description Carolina Feher 2003-09-15 21:58:22 UTC
When artsd is running, Flash movies have no sound. If artsd stops, the sound
works again. There should be a way to make Flash movies output sound to arts.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start artsd
2. Load a web page with a Flash movie with sound

Actual Results:
No sound

Expected Results:
Sound works

Try starting arts on a second chanel (if you have a soundcard that has multiple dac's) or start mozilla with "artsdsp mozilla". Another option would be to configure arts to release the sounddevice after say 10 seconds of not being used.

It is a general linux sound problem though, not much we can do about it.
