Description SI Reasoning 2003-09-15 13:10:45 UTC
After updating to xfce-base/xfce4-3.99.4, I was unable to launch it and recieved
the following message:
/usr/bin/xfce4-session: error while loading shared libraries: libxfcegui4.so.0:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I searched for the file and found the following:
[sczjd@gentoo portage]$ locate libxfcegui4.so
/usr/lib/libxfcegui4.so
/usr/lib/libxfcegui4.so.1.0.3
/usr/lib/libxfcegui4.so.1

so it appears that either libxfcegui4.so.0 needs to be created or xfce4-session
needs to point to /usr/lib/libxfcegui4.so.1

I have the session manager masked as it is not in the release tree and was just for testing. Remove the session manager and all should be well as it is broken with the current release.
