Please find attached lwpr-1.2.2.ebuild Locally Weighted Projection Regression (LWPR) is a recent algorithm that achieves nonlinear function approximation in high dimensional spaces with redundant and irrelevant input dimensions. At its core, it uses locally linear models, spanned by a small number of univariate regressions in selected directions in input space. Hi, Thanks for your input. It looks an interesting package. I modified the ebuild a bit and put it in the science overlay for a wider audience. I still have problems building it with --enable-threads=X. Also I don't know where to put the MEX files compiled by octave, so I shipped the .m files to /usr/share/octave/packages/${P}
