Freeciv 1.14.1-beta is available.  This is essentially a release candidate for
Freeciv 1.14.1.

It's worth noting that 1.14.1 builds the Gtk2 interface by default.

It's also worth noting that a CVS version of 1.15 is the ~x86 version in
portage, which is probably wrong given that's an alpha version and not due out
for some time.

Added to CVS.  Test away.

The 1.15 version was added to address a previous bug report and the version
number was used to avoid conflicts with any 1.14 releases.
