Description Carolina Feher 2003-09-14 18:04:30 UTC
I can't see everything that I type and the cursor is ahead of or behind the
right position.
See my screenshot: http://www.mirrorball.uni.cc:5500/abiword.png
I typed "Testing abiword again".

can you paste the output of emerge info and also what version of X you are using?
Comment 2 Carolina Feher 2003-09-19 03:06:53 UTC
I'm using xfree-4.3.0-r2.

Output of emerge info:

mg, do you recognize this problem ?
Comment 4 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-10-12 09:38:22 UTC
there is said to be a similar problem in abi bugzilla, but i can't find the
relevant bug atm. No fix there either is the word.
Comment 5 Mark Gilbert 2003-10-12 14:11:38 UTC
No, sorry.
Nobody here can reproduce it, nor do I recognize it. The closest bugs that
come to mind include some win32-specific stuff and revisions-specific stuff.
 Nothing that generic.
Comment 6 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-11-20 08:06:51 UTC
im closing this one, i have no idea what the problem could be and i sort of assume it is/was local.
