Almost every week somebody asks for a link to the archives at one of the mailing lists. In order to resolve this situation people have made many propositions, but unfortunately nothing has happened. Here are, for example, two of the requests: 1. Add a link to the webpage at http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/lists.xml 2. Add a line with the link to the signature that gets appended to every mail. The signature could look like this: -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list Archives at http://news.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.user The link could of course point to another location such as http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=gentoo-user&r=1&w=2 or to multiple locations. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: A link to the mailinglist archives at some obvious place.
