hal-0.5.12_rc1-r7 hit the stable today but g-p-m 2.22.1 (the last g-p-m stable version on amd64) blocks it. I had to mask last hal stable version. the blocker is due to hal which blocks !<gnome-extra/gnome-power-manager-2.24.4-r2 . see the following IRC log : <leio> ssuominen: the blocker in hal can be removed, it's for gnome-power-manager-2.24[policykit] before the revision it doesn't block anymore, but those aren't in tree anymore and g-p-m-2.22 doesn't have policykit USE flag and so hasn't installed the polkit policy file that is the reason for the blocking <leio> ssuominen: if you can confirm that and remove the blocker from hal while I commute, all the power to you <ssuominen> i'll leave that to you... sorry :) <leio> ok, back in 30
Fixed it, sorry for the screwup and thanks for notifying. 0.5.12_rc1-r7 was modified, also a -r8 exists to ensure everyone is getting a version recorded without the blocker. Also removed it from 0.5.13 version to not have problems in the future when that is stabilized.
