The attached patch fixes a minor dependency problem with current portage.

fixed.

I will keep this bug open meanwhile - I still did not add (optional dependency)
lam to the portage (lam is an MPI implementation - necessary if you want to run
parallel gromacs).

Ok, portage still does not support optional dependency of dependency state checks.. So I just put a comment in ebuild and ChageLog and made gromacs support mpi..
Please test if you are interested.
