It obviously works with USE="-kde".
Created attachment 205822 [details] gnash-0.8.6.ebuild.patch Hi, I had the same problem and I solved it passing other two options to the configure script (--with-plugins-install=system and --with-kde4-plugindir). Also I noticed that same option are ignored by the configure script: --enable-jpg, --enable-nspr and so on. I think that these support have become hardcoded now, so I deleted it. This is my patch to the gnash-0.8.6 ebuild present in portage, I hope that would be useful. Bye, Luca
same for me, and I can confirm that after applying Luca's patch gnash can be compiled however, the konqueror plugin does not get recognized ... after using the "nsplugin" in konqueror, I can at least get rid of the messages that I have to download flash, but it still does not work, it just displays empty space within the page so I have to go back to adobe-flash :-(
Could you guys please fix this? Luca's fix works just fine and it has been there for almost two months. You got the fix, just use it!
