Wine 1.1.30 can now be downloaded from http://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/system/emulators/wine/wine-1.1.30.tar.bz2 Renaming the ebuild to 1.1.30 works. The GCC patch from bug #260726 still applies cleanly, though I'm not sure if it's still relevant (as http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17498 has been marked closed/fixed since 1.1.20) Reproducible: Always
Patch is still relevant. After commenting out the epatch line, I still get: /usr/bin/ld: Relocatable linking with relocations from format elf32-i386 (aclui_main.o) to format elf64-x86-64 (aclui.e4SARb.o) is not supported winebuild: /usr/bin/ld -r failed with status 256 winegcc: ../../tools/winebuild/winebuild failed on my AMD64 setup.
And lets try not to miss the new optional dep (openal) this time.
The Wine development release 1.1.30 is now available. What's new in this release: Support for OpenAL. Many improvements in HTML and JavaScript support. Many common controls fixes and improvements. More Direct3D 10 work. Better MAPI support. Various bug fixes.
keep your crap to yourself Rafał 1.1.30 now in the tree
(In reply to comment #4) > keep your crap to yourself Rafał > Hey, no need to get that personal.
your snarky comments dont belong in bugzilla. go start a blog or something if you want to do that.
And on a related note: while I'm not on amd64, it seems that another case of bug 283860 may happen, as it doesn't look like emul-linux-x86-soundlibs have openal.
not a wine problem, and this is not the place to report such things. new issue -> new report.
