I recompiled ksensors about 2-3 weeks ago and it has run fine since then. Now I recompiled it again and it segfaults on startup. If anyone is using it successfuly, please make a backup package and then re-emerge it and see if you can confirm. This is identical on 2 ~amd machines. billydv@Linux1 ~ $ emerge --info Portage 2.2_rc40 (default/linux/amd64/10.0/desktop, gcc-4.4.1, glibc-2.10.1-r0, 2.6.31-gentoo x86_64) I was able to repair this by re-emerging all immediate dependencies kdelibs qt3 libtool make pkgconfig perl libXt and then after recompiling ksensors, it started up fine. One note, qt3 failed to emerge until I eselected the current postgresql installation so this may have had something to do with it.
Leaving this open for anyone who comes across this for now.
The latest version is from 2004 and it's for KDE3-only. This has been masked for removal.
