The just-stabilized scorched3d-42.1 does not compile on my x86 system. Build logs above. My emerge --info:

Patch for compilation fail

The attached patch, added to the 42.1 ebuild:
src_prepare() {
    epatch \
        "${FILESDIR}"/${P}-fixups.patch \
        "${FILESDIR}"/${P}-gcc43.patch \
        "${FILESDIR}"/${P}-windowsh.patch
    eautoreconf
}

fixes the compiler errors here, and the program seems to run OK. 

The correct fix would be for upstream to remove all Windows references and code as a config-time option.
