the mint patch doesn't apply

also, wasn't the >=2.*.50 reserved for linux only?

updated binutils patch

Attached a new binutils patch.

Replace binutils-2.19.51.0.9-mint.patch with this binutils-2.20.51.0.1-mint.patch

And leave the other patch alone in the ebuild. But ensure you uncomment both now.

Is there any progress in getting this applied upstream? 4.5MB is a bit huge as patch... anyway applied.

None yet, because we are considering ELF support. But thanks for adding.

Yikes, that patch isn't right. Let me fix and re-upload. It shouldn't be anywhere near that size.
