I did a local bump 24h ago. Both STR and Hibernation works with =sys-power/hibernate-scripts-2.0-r1. Anyway, i'm experiencing strange behavior :
I have 4GB ram and 2GB swap. Hibernation is done in swap partition.
When I hibernate, the system beggings to swap out as many memory as possible, and then proceed with "normal" hibernation cycle. When rebooting, the resume cycle itself is *very* fast (because image size in swap is small), but the, system as to reload everything from swap. Strange. I'll try to go further into testing.

Back to normal ... I had a silly 1800MB (related to my 2GB swap) image_size_limit set in my tuxonice.conf :
- Parameters : 0 667656 0 1 1800 0
