Description Paul V 2009-09-11 09:41:10 UTC
Cannot start local game because of error 'WARNING: Spawning entity before map entities have been spawned'

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-09-11 11:28:53 UTC
Reopen this bug when you at least provide the name of the game's package you cannot start. Furthermore provide the output of "emerge --info", too.

'paludis --info games-fps/warsow' added.
Comment 6 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-09-18 01:53:48 UTC
what's the output of "which warsow"

Also, warsow is quite verbose when it's started. Please post the full output from attempting to run it.

warsow output

'which warsow' as user returns '/usr/games/bin/warsow'. as root - 'which: no warsow in (/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin)'. Whole warsow output is attached.
Comment 8 Paul V 2009-11-09 19:57:57 UTC
Also, USE=-angelscript get warsow working.
Comment 9 Paul V 2009-11-09 20:01:00 UTC
But as I undertood, angelscript needed to load gametypes, so local game creating does not working anyway.

Paul V,
is this related to bug #285448 ?
Comment 11 Paul V 2009-11-16 06:51:38 UTC
Looks like 0.5-r1 ebuild fixes the problem, thank you!
