"emerge jsfapi" is not able to fetch myfaces_core-1.1.4-src.tar.gz on the apache mirror. jsf-1_1_01.zip, which has to be downloaded manually, also appears to be an outdated implementation of jsf but is directly downloadable on the https://javaserverfaces.dev.java.net/download.html page It's licensed under the CDDL
I've added dev-java/mojarra - Project Mojarra - GlassFish's Implementation for JavaServer Faces API. It's a dependency of new resin, for now it's masked until new resin is in the tree.
