Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge filelight
2. execute filelight (as root or as normal user, the problem is the same)

Tried to revdep-rebuild, but saw no change (as revdep-rebuild did not detected inconsistencies)

No, you've upgraded GCC and/or GLIBC at some point without following the correct steps. [1]

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gcc-upgrading.xml

... or simple gcc-config switch to latest one, and "emerge -eva world" should work too ;-)

In fact, I never upgraded GCC on my laptop, since it is a clean install :

root@gentoo-nre $ genlop -t gcc
 * sys-devel/gcc

     Wed Jun 3 10:47:29 2009 >>> sys-devel/gcc-4.3.2-r3
merge time: 44 minutes and 21 seconds.

     Thu Jun 4 09:28:35 2009 >>> sys-devel/gcc-4.3.2-r3
merge time: 34 minutes and 59 seconds.

     Mon Jul 13 09:11:36 2009 >>> sys-devel/gcc-4.3.2-r3
merge time: 40 minutes and 40 seconds.

     Mon Sep 14 13:46:53 2009 >>> sys-devel/gcc-4.3.2-r3
merge time: 32 minutes and 11 seconds.

I'm not sure, but I changed my CHOST from i486 to i686. That could be the problem, maybe I made some kind of mistake.

Sorry.

Regards,
