Description Priit Laes (IRC: plaes) 2009-09-08 07:38:13 UTC
I emerged xfce4-meta during new install (didn't include any other desktop environments) and gtk+ toolkit freaked out because it couldn't find any fonts - http://plaes.org/files/2009-Q3/blocky.png

IMHO, either gtk+ or xfce4-meta should depend on some core fonts

So... I guess someone should verify that if you uninstall all fonts, except those that might or might not be pulled in by xfce4-meta and xorg-server, and then add dejavu on top of that if it works o.k.
