I decided to try out some more aggressive CFLAGS, and glibc refused to compile. After analyzing the problem I managed to discover make segfaulting when built with -fstack-check. Searching bugzilla made me aware that -fstack-check is an unsupported flag, so this is just a FYI. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add -fstack-check to CFLAGS 2. emerge make 3.
