While compiling dev-python/numpy I saw some "errors". I screened them. Possibly that is not all that had been happened Reproducible: Always crusader bin # grep gcc /etc/portage/package.* /etc/portage/package.use:sys-devel/gcc nptl -fortran -gtk

Build logs are preferred...
Created attachment 203235 [details] /var/tmp/portage/dev-python/numpy-1.3.0-r1/image/../temp/build.log Same here on my box, but I think it is nothing bad.
Those are harmless in the sense that they won't break anything (yet), but might be nice to fix it before the deprecation warning becomes a removal error :)
Can you specify which errors you are referring to? The only ones I see are warnings and configtest which are part of the build system. Not quite sure it's worth spending our precious Gentoo time on the numpy.distutils bloat for warnings.
Closing this one. Not clear whether these warning hurt us.
