It is not possible to install kde-l10n-4.3 or kde-l10n-4.3.9999 when one of some other KDE packages are installed and vice versa (means none of these apps could get installed if kde-l10n is installed): just for example: emerge -v kmplayer emerge -v kde-l10n:4.3│ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -v media-sound/amarok:4 2. emerge -v kde-l10n:4.3 or vice versa: 1. emerge -v kde-l10n:4.3 2. emerge -v media-sound/amarok:4 Actual Results: Detected file collision(s): │ │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kplayer.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kdiff3.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kvpnc.mo │ │Detected file collision(s): │ │ │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarok.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/amarokcollectionscanner_qt.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kmplayer.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kplayer.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/ktorrent.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kiosktool.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kdiff3.mo │ /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/kdetv.mo │ Expected Results: no collision between these packages the system / kde is installed with USE="-kdeprefix" as documented by the Gentoo KDE HOWTO. plz try with recent amarok versions, like 2.2.1-r2 and/or 2.2.1.90 (beta1). I couldn't reproduce here, so it is probably fixed. Reopen if the bug is still valid for you. Thanks
...tried it today again -> yes it seems fixed now. ;) thank you and best regards, Niels.
