rsync1.fi.gentoo.org aka. trumpetti.atm.tut.fi has problems with low disk space. For now I need to downgrade it to distfiles-only. A solution is being worked on, but there is no estimate when or how the problem will be resolved. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Thanks, someone will be able to get to this soon. Little low on staff right now.
Heikki, What is the status here? I see the distfiles mirror and the gentoo-portage mirror up to date. Did you want me to continue with removing rsync1.fi from the ACLs/DNS ?
Everything is and has been up to date. It looks like this time the problem got resolved the good way: new hardware is on its way and until it gets installed, the mirror has been running on good but temporary hardware. In other words, please do not remove anything from ACLs/DNS. Once the new hardware is in place, I will leave a comment and the bug can be closed without need to downgrade or remove anything.
Heikki, Thanks. Please update this bug when you think everything is up to date and 100% working.
Should this bug be closed yet? Status?
(In reply to comment #5) > Should this bug be closed yet? Status? The current status is this: the new hardware has arrived and is under installation and testing now. The service has not yet moved to the new server but things are progressing and looking good. Since the move has not happened yet, lets keep the ticket open for a little while now. If nothing unexpected happens, it can be closed next month. I will return to this ticket when this can be done.
Trumpetti rsync is not working right now, any relevance to this? (In reply to comment #6) > (In reply to comment #5) > > Should this bug be closed yet? Everything seems sync'd and up to date. Did the switch to the new hardware happen? (Its been a few months since the last update on this bug)
Everything has been looking alright, so I'm assuming we are done here.
(In reply to comment #9) > Everything has been looking alright, so I'm assuming we are done here. You are correct with your assumption. The bug is correctly resolved as fixed and I would just like to confirm that the switch has happened and everything is working as expected.
