Description Daniel Santos 2009-08-28 19:39:50 UTC
This happens when you build kdelibs with the "debug" USE flag. Personally, I think they need to figure out exactly what they are and aren't going to use asserts for. IMHO, this should *not* have resulted in a failed assertion. None the less, they have created a patch to ktorrent for this (it doesn't look like they want to change the assert in kdelibs).

http://websvn.kde.org/branches/stable/extragear-kde4/network/ktorrent/ktorrent/gui.cpp?r1=1010498&r2=1010497&pathrev=1010498&view=patch

And the KDE bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201574

I dunno if they have bumped the version for ktorrent or not yet (I'm too lazy to check) but maybe we can suck this patch in asap anyway.

Thanks

oops, I forgot to include the version, which is 3.2.3

Thanks. Bumped in main tree so users recompile on safe version.
