Azureus is one of the better bittorrent clients I've seen. I'd definetly like to see a portage ebuild of it! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I have no idea how to do even the simplest Java stuff and this seems to be quite complex (it has some deps not yet in Portage)... Unless someone else can help write a bunch of ebuilds for them, I'm not going to have time to do this for quite a while.
Created attachment 21299 [details] azureus-2.0.3.2.ebuild Java Bittorrent client for Linux
Please test and provide comments.
David, would you like to retain a copyright on the ebuild? Usually we use something like: # Copyright 1999-2003 Gentoo Technologies, Inc. and David Grant Also, you left the LICENSE variable blank. Azureus is licensed under the GPL-2. Generally "dodoc" is used for installing documentation. I've fixed those and attached a new ebuild with such changes. I also renamed it to azureus-bin, since it doesn't actually compile it. Unfortunately, this is only for version 2.0.3.2 and version 2.0.4.2 is already released. If nobody else updates it before then, I'll look into it in December.
Correction: new ebuild is in Portage, not attached.
