After adding gnome-pilot applet nothing can be seen in the panel although applet works as I can synchronize PDA. See detailed description at provided URL and patch (comment#16) which I have tried and it works.

Reproducible: Always

Fixed into the main tree with a revision bump, Patch import from upstream.
