I've found annoying in qt-creator when copying and pasting fast with control-C and control-V by selecting the word to copy and overwrite by double clicking, that you will end in following the declaration of the double clicked word and so you will paste in a wrong file or position.

i suggest apply my simple patch to fix this behaviour.

fix to not allow control+lmb indentifier navigation

fix to not allow control+lmb to navigate to identifier under cursor, which conflict if you copy and paste with control+c and control+v and don't release the control (like any other ide or texteditor).

Thanks for this patch but it has to go upstream before we apply it on our ebuild :)

Thanks

Comment 6 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-09 17:54:12 UTC
ppc64 is not going to fix this bug anytime soon since Qt-4.5 is still on ~ppc64. Closing as LATER
Comment 7 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-11 21:29:35 UTC
Re-opening since ppc64 marked Qt-4.5.3 stable

ppc64 arches please stabilize this sweet IDE as well :)
Comment 8 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-01-11 02:03:59 UTC
