Thanks for the ebuilds, Marcin. I downloaded the sources from kdevelop.org, but the file doesn't match the stated size or MD5sum, so I'm a little reluctant to use it.

I know that version 4.0 is on the horizon, but it would be nice to see 3.5.5 in the official portage tree too.
Comment 4 marbacz 2009-09-08 22:19:49 UTC
Weird. It looks size and sum are for .bz2 archive but the file to download is .gz.
Size 11886928, MD5 76df6a0383d92c1a8d8cfcf278abb554 -- that's the file I made the ebuild for.
Comment 5 Jeremy Murphy 2009-10-02 00:54:06 UTC
Marcin, I get this error when I try to create the manifest for your ebuild:

!!! /usr/local/portage/local/dev-util/kdevelop-3.5.5.ebuild does not seem to have a valid PORTDIR structure.

KDE team, it would be great to have an official ebuild, please!
Comment 6 marbacz 2009-10-07 21:15:54 UTC
Try putting the ebuild in a directory dev-util/kdevelop instead of directly in dev-util.
Comment 7 Jeremy Murphy 2009-10-27 05:30:49 UTC
@KDE team: pretty please?
