I recommend trying to run revdep-rebuild prior to emerge. Please report your results.

revdep-rebuild

Comment 3 Brad House 2009-08-13 23:54:37 UTC
I reproduced the same thing. That file it failed on is installed by dev-libs/redland. I didn't put any real time into it, I basically just did this to resolve it:

echo "dev-libs/redland -sqlite" >> /etc/portage/package.use
emerge -1 redland

Ok, that means you will need to do one of the following:

1. Uninstall the reported KDE packages (#2) prior to running revdep-rebuild
2. S the problematic package for your emerge (#1) is redland. Reinstall redland and try to emerge nepomuk again.

Please report your results.

"echo "dev-libs/redland -sqlite" >> /etc/portage/package.use
emerge -1 redland"

I did that, still failing.

I encountered this bug today, seems to be a problem with version 1.0.9 of dev-libs/redland. After downgrading dev-libs/redland to 1.0.8 compilation works fine for me:

echo "=dev-libs/redland-1.0.9" >>/etc/portage/package.mask
emerge -1 redland
emerge kde-base/nepomuk-4.3.0
Comment 8 Kyle Browning 2009-08-14 22:08:02 UTC
That fixed it, thanks

I had the same problem, downgrade to 1.0.8 fixed it.
