I have a pofile 1.0 system running offline (took it online this firday to
download and patch up).

Appears that the cracklib fix to make it link libgcc_s.so is a failed attempt in
this case, since gcc 2.95.3 doesn't have that lib, nor the symbols required.

Hmm, dont you guys check 'gcc --version' and C[XX]FLAGS for propolice before
patching for it ?

added filter-flags again for -fstack-protector and introduced has_version for hardened-gcc to activate the lib if we compile with transparent stackprotection
