The file './fs/jfs/.jfs_imap.o.d' in the kernel-source directory has an typing error, so build failed...:

./fs/jfs/.jfs_imap.o.d:  /usr/src/linux-2.6.30-g%ntoo-r4/arch/x86/include/asm/spinlock.h \

Post the full error, and your emerge --info and your .config
