Sincerely, this should be reported upstream, sorry to say that. Mostly the problem is that the code is quite crappy and I would rather avoid having to maintain the logic of it. I already sent upstream the patch to avoid using nm (which is also kinda silly), but I'd rather maintain this package on a well-sorta-works kind of basis for now.
