Description voided 2002-05-17 17:17:50 UTC
The install documentation fails to mention to install the pcmcia_cs package
[sys-apps/pcmcia-cs] before quiting the installation and rebooting.

at code listing 36 it says:
If you have a PCMCIA card installed, have a quick look into /etc/init.d/pcmcia
to verify that things seem all right for your setup, then add etc...

but because the pcmcia package wasnt installed the user wont
find /etc/init.d/pcmcia and will not be able to access his pcmcia nic upon
restart.

This depends on if they use pcmcia-cs or built in kernel. I think it should be
mentioned - as an option.

i think a pointer/tie-in to the laptop-installation guide would be good here,..
i'll get it sorted
