Description Timothy Miller 2009-08-10 03:48:11 UTC
I installed xmoto, but I can't figure out how to run it. Googling tells me that if I were to manually build it from source, I can run an executable called "xmoto". But after running updatedb, slocate finds plenty of things with "xmoto" in the name, but no actual executable named "xmoto" exists. There is "/usr/share/games/xmoto/xmoto.bin", but it's not executable.

Reproducible: Always

Never mind. I had two problems. One is that updatedb must not have finished, and secondly, I hadn't COMPLETELY logged out in order to get being added to the games group to take effect (quitting gnuscreen isn't enough).
