When I open a folder that contains some images, pcmanfm only shows the preview of the first image. If I click the "refresh" button, pcmanfm shows the first and second image preview. If I click the "refresh" button again, pcmanfm shows first, second and third image preview..., etc.

which size are the images which you can't see the preview? . Keep in mind pcmanfm has a default 1024 KB max size limit for thumbnails, and that can be changed in Menu Edit->Preferences , General Tab, "Max size of files displayed as thumbnails" Also try to execute update-mime-database /usr/share/mime and update-desktop-database as root , so that pcmanfm can detect image file type and create thumbnails. This step is executed when you install pcmanfm If some useful output is displayed when you run pcmanfm from a terminal, please attach it And from the lxde wiki [1] Thumbnail * Apparantly, current thumbnail support has some serious bugs and it suffers from racing condition. So sometimes thumbnails fail to load. [1] http://wiki.lxde.org/en/PCManFM_Roadmap
And we appreciate assigning the bug to lxde herd, but please do it in the "Assign to" field Thanks

For now the best thing to do is open a bug in PCMan File Manager bug tracker [1] or search if it is already opened. [1] http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=156956
(In reply to comment #4) > And we appreciate assigning the bug to lxde herd, but please do it in the > "Assign to" field I think bug-wranglers were still trying to determine the validity of the bug and if it should be assigned to us. I usually trust their judgment. ;-)
Upstream bug filed at http://tr.im/w1b3
(In reply to comment #9) > Upstream bug filed at http://tr.im/w1b3 > Yes, I have submited the bug in that site :P
This is an upstream issue, but we'll probably have to wait for the rewrite.
