Bug 28043 – Feature Request: distcc on the install CD?

Would it be possible to have the distcc client available on the install CD, or 
part of the stage1 tarball? I use distcc pretty much all the time now with 3 
distcc workers since it is so easy to use. 
 
When installing new system I usually emerge distcc right after doing the 
bootstrap and before doing the `emerge system` but having it available for the 
bootstrap would be useful in speeding new installs.

Sorry, I see this has already been submitted before. My first query did not 
return anything related but I just ran another and found the previous 
requests.

This bug looks to me a dup of http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8450,  
which has already collected http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18821  
RESOLVED/DUPLICATE of 8450.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
