According to its homepage, a new version of media-gfx/dpic got released on 2009/07/13.

required ebuild changes

The ebuild needs to be changed, as the doc files changed names/types.

The only strange issue with this ebuild is that portage (version 2.1.6.13) installs this double compressed file:
/usr/share/doc/dpic-20090713/gpic.ps.gz.bz2
