Description Reporter 2003-09-05 22:39:12 UTC
At startup & if palette changes are made (even if apply to all apps is
deselected), xfce forgets all current resource settings and only reloads what
is set in a users personal file. If there is no personal ~/.Xresources, it just
forgets everything.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to reproduce:
1. while in xfce, use xrdb to load something into resource db
2. use appres to verify
3. open settings dlg and load a diff. palette
4. call appres again

Expected results:
identical output on both calls to appres

Actual results:
second call to appres returns nothing

seems to be an upstream bug...xfce3 will be deprecated very shortly, you might wanna try xfce4
Comment 2 Brad Cowan (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-09-25 21:30:23 UTC
xfce4 is out and xfce3 is deprecated
