I would like to request that my Gentoo developer name be changed from kalos to nathanzachary. I would like my real name to be the one that is out there in the open, as then I can have it across all my Linux projects and I will be readily identifiable. Thank you preemptively for your assistance regarding this request.
Also, if it is possible, I would like NathanZachary@gentoo.org instead of all lowercase. Further, I thought it might help to list my current projects: * Forum Moderator * Gentoo Support Everywhere * Openbox HOWTO (it is listed on that document as well). Thanks again.
Usernames are generally case insensitive. Your email should work identically regardless of the case.
(In reply to comment #2) > Usernames are generally case insensitive. Your email should work identically > regardless of the case. > That's cool. I just thought I would say NathanZachary instead for the sake of readability on my project pages. I thought if it was entered in that way, it would show up under "Nickname" that way. BUT, I have no idea about how you or the infra team handle such issues. :)
Please come and find me on IRC between the hours of 17h00 and 02h00 UTC tomorrow, to time the switchover of the core infra stuff (mainly just making strictly sure that you don't have any IMAP or SSH connections open). I'll switch: 1. LDAP account details 1.1 email (with an alias in the old name) 2. bugzilla account Forum admins: you should be able to rename him already.
Hi Robin, I know that with all the forum issues that day, the username change was the last thing that for which you had time. If you would like to schedule another time to meet, and perhaps a different medium as I'm having trouble getting in touch with you in #gentoo-dev on IRC, that would be great. Just let me know what works for you. Thanks again, Nathan Zachary
Making the summary clearer.
All done.
