Bug 27956 – new rsync mirror

Hi, 
 
I want to provide a new rsync mirror. 
Rsyncd is already configured an syncing every half hour with  
official servers. I set the max user limit to 20. 
Sytem is stable for a year, has a 100 Mbit uplink and is located 
in Duesseldorf, Germany.

I've added 194.97.40.170 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org.
Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org
and post back here when you've done so.  We'll monitor the server 
for a couple days to make sure things are working fine.

We are occaisionally having problems with some mirrors not being able 
to sync consistantly.  rsync1.us is reaching its limitations, so we may 
not be able to add this server.  We are working on solving the problem, 
but a permanent solution may be several months away.

I have changed the rsync cron job and it's now pointing to rsync1.us.gentoo.org.

This server is now rsync1.de.gentoo.org.  Please update the motd file to 
include that information.

I've subscribed <[e-mail]> to our gentoo-mirrors mailing 
list (low volume).  This list is used to discuss mirror-related issues.
