Description Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-07-29 00:11:09 UTC
Please mark xmoto-0.5.1.ebuild stable.
Comment 1 Tony Vroon (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-08-02 00:54:30 UTC
USE-flags for testing:
[ebuild N ] dev-games/ode-0.11.1 USE="double-precision -debug -doc -examples -gyroscopic" 1,534 kB
[ebuild N ] games-sports/xmoto-0.5.1 USE="nls -editor" 21,488 kB

Built game, allowed internet connectivity, awaited new level download. Got fed up after 10+ minutes, hit Escape. Pushed Quick Start. Was greeted with a segfault.
Does not appear stable, not keywording.

Then drop the amd64 keywords from both packages or I'll do it myself. I'm not really interested in the segfault unless it's a regression from the previously stable-marked version.

Hi,

Is it really required to drop the keywords? I suppose it enough to add the package to the package.mask, right? Just for me X-Moto works fine on amd64, because I don't use the loading levels from network. I think the best solution is create separate bug for the crash and mask the package, until it will not be resolved.

BR, Mike.

I've never had problems downloading levels with 0.5.1 or 0.5.2. Has anyone been able to replicate this bug?
