X doesn't start after upgrading to 2.8.0...
Please include patch [1] proposed in xorg bugzilla [2]. see also debian bug for reference [3].

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.8.0
2. restart X


Actual Results:  
X doesn't start anymore, complaining about missing modes


after applying the above mentioned patch everything works fine
