Launch 'startx' for the Gnome does not read /etc/X11/Xmodmap (found from /etc/X11/Session/Gnome and /etc/X11/xinit/xinirc).



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch 'startx'
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
It seems that Gnome started with 'startx' does not read /etc/X11/Xmodmap.

That's a feature, not a bug. You should use /etc/X11/Xkbmap instead. Xmodmap is deprecated in the X world now.
