Greetings, We've a new Gentoo Portage and Distfiles mirror on IP and IPv6 with Gigabit. It supports http, ftp and rsync access and it's synced from cesium.di.uminho.pt. Besides, we have an official wiki in http://ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt with a how-to per mirror to explain how to sync from our server. We'd like to became an official mirror, therefore, we request authorization to sync from your master server. Here are some more details about the mirror: Mirror domain name: ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt Geographical Location of the mirror: Lisbon, Portugal Supported access methods: http, ftp, rsync URLs: http://ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt/pub/gentoo/gentoo-{portage,distfiles}, ftp://ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt/pub/gentoo/gentoo-{portage,distfiles}, rsync://ftp.rnl.ist.utl.pt/pub/gentoo/gentoo-{portage,distfiles} IP: For incoming connections, use 193.136.164.11. For outgoing connections (that is, the IP will see when we'll try to rsync from your master server) is 193.136.164.250. We also have an IPv6 address: 2001:690:2100:80::6. The problem seems to be that we're not syncing from any official mirror, we're syncing from another Portuguese University and they may not be syncing in this timely manner.
