Description Aniruddha Shankar 2003-09-04 06:46:52 UTC
gcc: /usr/lib/libdbh.so: No such file or directory
I have dev-libs/dbh-1.0.15 installed but there was no /usr/lib/libdbh.so despite
the fact that qpkg -l dbh told me there should be a symlink to that file.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try and emerge xffm-3.99.3
2.
3.

Actual Results:
When I tried to emerge xffm, gcc failed, saying it couldnt find /usr/lib/libdbh.so

Expected Results:
The software should have emerge xffm and spoken in tongues.

Comment 1 Aniruddha Shankar 2003-09-04 06:54:10 UTC
unmerging and re-emerging dbh recreated the symlink and solved the problem.
