Package fails to fetch, because tarball file sizes have changed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge itext
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Fetch failed.

Expected Results:  
Package gets fetched and merged.

just refetched these and they passed.  Can you still reproduce.  i was fetching from distfiles.gentoo.org

There is no problem if fetched from working Gentoo mirror, but if for whatever reason portage fails back to fetch from SRC_URI, then it failed. In one of the similar bugs I was told that it is ok if it fetches only from Gentoo distfiles, but I don't know whether it is the view shared for all developers.

Anyway, I managed to fetch all needed packages by changing Gentoo mirrors used.
