My firefox 3.5 was spamming loads of lines like (firefox:5702): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: IA__g_object_weak_unref: couldn't find weak ref 0xb662fec0(0xaf4f73d0) After a bit of google I came across that arch linux forum thread (see URL) which links to this bugreport: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15572?project=1 I have not really investigated and just added the 2 patches from http://repos.archlinux.org/viewvc.cgi/pango/repos/extra-i686/ to pango-1.24.4-r1 in ::devnull overlay and now the messages are gone.
ArchLinux patches are referring to bugs: Bug 586814 – Crashes related to fontmap destruction after upgrade http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=586814 Bug 588678 – pango crash: install a new theme from gnome-appearance-properties http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=588678 they don't look too crazy, I'd say ok for inclusion but I want a second pair of eyes on it.
Fixed in pango 1.24.5 - released less than an hour ago.
like Rafal said, normally fixed by pango-1.24.5 bump. can you test it ?
