If I just emerge media-video/cheese i don't see the image in the preview area. Only after additionally installing gst-plugins-xvideo (which contains the used xvimagesink) it works as expected (at least for photos). For videos the problem remains.

Fixed in 2.26.3 by adding a dependency on a gst video sink to RDEPEND. Thanks
