Description Chris Dellin 2009-07-09 16:44:48 UTC
When I attempt to emerge net-misc/twitux, it borks:

checking for TWITUX... configure: error: Package requirements (
	libsexy
	gtk+-2.0 >= 2.14.0
	glib-2.0 >= 2.15.0
	gio-2.0 >= 2.15.5
	libcanberra-gtk >= 0.4
	libsoup-2.4
	libnotify
	dbus-1 >= 0.61 dbus-glib-1
) were not met:

No package 'libcanberra-gtk' found

The install works correctly if media-libs/libcanberra is installed explicitly beforehand.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start with a system where media-libs/libcanberra is not installed.
2. Attempt to install net-misc/twitux.
3. ??
4. Profit

Actual Results:
Install fails during configure with:

checking for TWITUX... configure: error: Package requirements (
	libsexy
	gtk+-2.0 >= 2.14.0
	glib-2.0 >= 2.15.0
	gio-2.0 >= 2.15.5
	libcanberra-gtk >= 0.4
	libsoup-2.4
	libnotify
	dbus-1 >= 0.61 dbus-glib-1
) were not met:

No package 'libcanberra-gtk' found

Expected Results:
Successful build/run

Currently using net-misc/twitux-0.69 on Gentoo / x86, Kernel 2.6.29.5, Asus Eee PC.
